Process of Album Advert

Image
This is the process of my album advert cover which I have been making on photoshop. I am very happy with her the image looks, the background and the colours etc. However I feel as if the top of the left side page is too plain as there is just a blank space, therefore I think some text or something needs to be added. In order to do this I may play around with the stars and logos and move one to the other side to fill up more space. I also feel that on the bottom of the left side page spotify, iTunes etc look too big and should possibly be made smaller. Therefore I am going to change a few things around on the page as this is only the process of my advert.

Process of Digipak

Image
This is the the process of my digipak, by receiving target audience feedback I am able to change what I think is necessary. For example, my target audience did not like my 'Thank you' page as it is too contains too much text and no images. Therefore by gathering other opinions I can now change the page to fit the needs of my target audience and make it more appealing to look at.

Feedback on Digipak

Image
For this task, I used emaze to show my feedback on my digipak. This task helped me a lot as I was able to receive necessary feedback on what should be changed on my digipak and how I could make it better. Receiving feedback was very helpful as I was able to have a second opinion so I was able to see if I had missed anything out. Therefore in the future, I will know getting feedback always comes at an advantage.

Location List

For this task I used the Web 2.0 tool Piktochart to show the some of the locations that we used for our music video such as the forest and pond. We re did various shots after receiving feedback about what best suited our music video and what didn't look good. By receiving this feedback we were able to go back to specific locations and re do different shots to make our music video even better. This task was helpful as it made us overall more organised as we were keeping track of where we had filmed and the different shots we had done.

Target audience feedback on digipak

Image
For this task, I asked my target audience their opinion on my digipak. By doing this task I was able to get criticism on what needed to be improved and then go off and change what was necessary to make sure my digipak was at its highest standard. By getting second opinions, I was able to get a strong insight as to what needed to be changed. This task was helpful as without my target audience feedback, my digipak would be at a lower standard and I wouldn't know what needed to be improved.

Target audience feedback on music video

Image
This is feedback I edited got from my target audience about what they liked and disliked about my music video. This task was helpful as it enabled my group and I to hear about the weaknesses in our music video and take this on board and change anything necessary in order for our video to be at its highest standard. By getting feedback from our target audience, we were able to get a strong insight as to what would appeals most to them and what they didn't like as much. This task is helpful in the future as it shows that getting target audience feedback is a must because without it, we wouldn't have a second opinion on our video and therefore wouldn't know how to make it better.

Process of my digipak 2

Image
This is my second process of my digipak, I took on board my last audiences feedback and changed my 'Thank you' page to something more simple yet more attractive and appealing to look at. I also put a background behind my CD to fit in with the rest of the digipak. This shows how beneficial target audience feedback is at it enabled me to use their ideas to improve my product.

Images I didn't use and why

For this task I used Web 2.0 tool Piktochart to explain why I didn't use certain images for my digipak and album advert. This task was helpful as I was able to see why I couldn't use certain images, for reasons such as they were not in focus or other reasons such as certain images didn't suit the conventions of the digipaks/album adverts that I had researched. This task will help me in the future as I have an idea of what images would best suit my target audiences and what would be most eye catching. Images I didn't use and why by India Gee

Options for main image on album advert/digipak

For this task I used Piktochart and chose some of the images I had taken of my artist as options for my digipak/album advert. I also got inspiration from other ones to get an idea of how I would want mine to look. This task was helpful as I was more prepared due to the fact I had a few pictures I could choose from and had a strong idea as to how I would want it to look.

Examples of Digipaks/album advert

For this task I researched different digipaks so that I had an idea of how I would want mine to look. By researching various ones, I was able to see the kind of colour schemes I would want to use and how to make it suitable to my target audience. https://prezi.com/p/evork3lrq_ln/

Plan of digipak

Image
For this task, I drew out a plan of my digipak in order to have a idea of how I want mine to look like. By planning it, it will make it a lot easier when it comes to starting the real thing. This is because I know where I want everything to be placed e.g my lyrics and front image. This task will help me in the future as I will be much more prepared when it comes to designing my final digipak.
