For this task we videoed both our primary and secondary target audience to get feedback about our music video ideas and their opinions on it. This task was very helpful as we are able to take the criticisms of their feedback and apply it to our work so we could improve our original ideas. Therefore when it comes to making our music video, we will know it will fit our target audiences need as we would have received feedback from them and changed what was necessary.

For this task I used web 2.0 tool Emaze to talk about my primary,secondary and tertiary target audience. By doing this task I got an insight as to the reasons why I need a target audience and how my group have to come together to make sure our music video will relate and appeal to our target audience. This task will help me in the future as when it comes to my other tasks such as making my music video, I will be fully aware of who I am targeting it at and how the characters,clothing,locations etc need to fit my target audiences needs.

For this task I used the Web 2.0 tool Visme, where I researched into my chosen artists record label 'Dreamville Record'. I did this to have a better understanding about record labels and how they work, as well as finding out more information about J.Cole (my chosen artist) who owns the company. Created using Visme . For this task my group first came together to discuss our initial ideas so we could write up our final ideas, once we had written them up on a word document I made a Powtoon video using all my notes to create a final and more detailed presentation. This included what characters, location props, colours, camera shots etc we were going to use, as well as this i explained our narrative and analysed part of our chosen song. I found this task vey helpful as I now have all the detailed information for my music video, therefore when it comes to making it we will be my organised as we will have a strong idea of what we are doing.

In this task I have made a mind map of my initial ideas of my music video, advert and digipak. To make this task easier to do, I thought about the main topics within these things such as the location,props,characters etc that we would use. From this, I elaborated on my different ideas and what I thought would suit my video,advert and digipak best. For this task I used the Web 2.0 tool conqur, once completed my group will come together to discuss each of their initial ideas so that we can create the final treatment. This task will help me in the future, as I will already have strong ideas that I can apply to my other tasks.

For this task, my group came together to discuss our initial ideas, this task was helpful as we all came up with different ideas and shared them with each other, we came to a final conclusion as to what would be best for our music video, as we all had so many different ideas it made a lot easier to choose what would suit our video the most.

For this task I did research on my chosen artist J.Cole, this task has helped me as I am doing a J.Cole song for my main music video task. For this task I sat down with my group, where we came up with a time line to make sure our work was efficient and organised. By making this timeline, we were able to make sure we were on track with all of our tasks and they were completed by the deadlines. For this task I used the Web 2.0 tool called Canva. It was helpful to use as I was able to try out the different tools in order to make it into a calendar and now I am more familiar with how to use different things on Canva, which I can then include in my other tasks. For this task, I created a Powtoon video on the artist Kanye West who is in the hip hop. From completing this task I have learnt more information on Kanye West, such as his background and about his music life. By doing this task, I now also know more about the Hip Hope genre, therefore when making my video I will be more familiar with how it should look and what will appeal to my target audience. Therefore this task will help me in the future, as I can apply the information I have learnt to my other tasks and my music video.

For this task, I had to create a wordle of the competitors of my chosen artist J.Cole. To help me do this task I researched other artists who are in the rap industry so that I could find various competitors, I found artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Chance The Rapper. I applied this knowledge to make my worlde, it was easy to do because I found the competitors easily. It will also help me in the future as I am now more familiar with the different rappers in the rap industry, therefore I can apply this knowledge to my other tasks if necessary

For this task I used photoshop to put together a collage of my competitor artists, this is similar to my worlde task however I have used pictures and no writing. I used the same artists that I had for my wordle, I gathered them from google images and inserted them into photoshop. I overlapped some of the pictures and made them all different sizes, to make it look more exciting. I found this task fun to do as I was able to play around with the different tools on photoshop, which will be helpful as I am now familiar with how to use it which will make it easier for me if I use Photoshop for my other tasks.

For this task I created I have created a time lapse of the conventions for my digipak and poster, I have edited these videos onto iMovie, however they did not turn out as clear as I thought they would. Therefore below the video I have written the conventions to make it clear what they are. For this task I have gathered 9 different music videos which vary in genre. I researched different music videos and looked at them in-depth, I picked out specific parts of the videos that I liked best and put them together on Final cut, a long with a analyse of them as to why I chose them. However, I experienced some technical difficulties and lost 2 minutes of my moodpboard, therefore there is no analyse of my last video 'Love on top'. To complete this, I will analyse it below my moodboard. This task will help me in the future, as I now have enhanced my knowledge when it comes to using final cut and I am more familiar with different genres of music videos.    I chose Love on Top video because I like how it is a pure performance video and that we see Beyonce singing and dancing in a range of different costumes. For this task I looked at the representations found in a pop music video, and applied each of these to two different music videos that I looked at. This task will help me in the future as I am now very familiar with the conventions found in different music videos, which I can then use when I make my own music video.

For this task I have learnt the basic codes and conventions that are found in Hip Hop music videos. This has made me more familiar with what a typical Hip Hop music video should contain, therefore when making my music video I will now know what needs to be included. Unfortunately I am able to upload the key note slide which is why its not very clear, instead I have screens shotted each slide.
